Harish Bijoor is a Brand domain specialist operating out of Bangalore. He runs a unique boutique consulting outfit branded Harish Bijoor Consults Inc., a brand name that has a consulting presence across the markets of Hong Kong, Seattle, London , Dubai and the Indian sub-continent.

He spent the most recent 18 months of his corporate career as the Chief Operating Officer, Zip Telecom Limited. He has spent the last eight years prior to his Telecom stint with Tata Coffee Limited in various designations moving through the Brand Management and Marketing Hierarchy. Harish spent the first eight years of his career with Hindustan Lever Limited moving through the Sales and Distribution stream during the first four years and the Brand Management stream in the next four. Harish is actively involved in the world of coffee in India. He is a member of many active coffee forums and delivers lectures on the subject in India and Internationally. He is a member of the Coffee Board of India under the auspices of the Union Ministry of Commerce. Harish is an active member of the Plantations sub-committee of the Planning Commission for the formulation of the XIth Five year Plan(2007-12). Harish has recently published a book titled, "Marketing Trends - Smart Insights into the world of Indian Business" - a serious book written in a style that is distinctly young and MTV-ish! He is currently involved in his second book on core-branding. Harish is a member on the Board of Directors of a clutch of companies and his passion lies in the arena of good Corporate Governance. Harish is a much sought after Public speaker in India and across the world with a total of 8961 Hours of Public speaking engagements to his credit to date.

Harish is credited with some academic and teaching/training achievements that are different and intellectually stimulating in themselves. He has been teaching at the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad( ranked 12 by the Financial Times on its list of top Business Schools across the world) for the past 8 years.

Manish has also been responsible for driving the IT agenda in Customer Management for strengthening competitive advantage for HUL. Prior to the current assignment, Manish was the General Manager, Sales & Customer Development, for HUL in North India. Manish has been involved with the Organised retailing business from the early stages and is an active member of various industry forums in this area.

He is a Computer Engineer by training and has done his PGDM from IIM Bangalore.

Mr. Piyush Kumar Sinha

Professor Piyush Kumar Sinha is a faculty in the area of marketing and retailing. He has more than three decades of academic and industry experience. He has taught at leading management schools of India. Prior to joining IIMA, he was the Dean at MICA. He teaches Retailing and Marketing Management to the post graduate students. He also offers courses on Marketing Management and Consumer Behaviour to the Ph.D. students. He has been the Chairperson of the Centre for Retailing at IIMA.

Dr. Sinha conducts training programmes for senior managers in the area of Marketing, Retailing and Sales. These programmes have been conducted as open as well as company-based customised programme for several companies dealing in service, consumer products and industrial products.

Dr. Sinha has consulted companies in the areas of retail efforts, service management, marketing strategies, and marketing communication. His clients include companies from engineering, software, media, petroleum and retailing. He is working with some of the leading retailing companies in India. The projects include loyalty programmes, enhancing the performance of the outlets and redefining the role of the outlets in the new environments.

During his corporate tenure, Dr. Sinha has headed the marketing function of some of the leading companies. His responsibilities, at one of the companies as its Marketing Manager, included setting up the network of service outlets for a utility company. The company set benchmarks for the industry in the area of service and customer care and had become a leading player. In his other assignment, as the Marketing Manager of an FMCG company, he was involved in new product launches, media planning and buying, communication planning and production and packaging. The company had witnessed good performance from the new products and its communication exercise.

Dr. Sinha is involved in carrying out research in the area of retailing and consumer research. He has several international publications to his credit. He is one of the few resources working in the area of qualitative research in marketing in India.

He is associated as a mentor with some initiatives that promote social entrepreneurship.

Mr. Pradeep Kashyap

Pradeep kashyap, Founder & CEO MART, is known as the father of rural marketing in India. He is recognized as a thought leader and is a regular speaker at CEO forums in India and abroad. He has been Marketing Advisor to Ministry of Rural Development and has served on Prime Minister Office and Chief Minister Committees on rural development. He is a World Bank and United Nations consultant. He was Chairman, Khadi Commission National Marketing Committee and member of RBI, NABARD and SIDBI national advisory committees.

He has worked in the private sector for the first 20 years with MNCs like EXIDE, BOSCH & DENSO, and the next 20 years as a rural development and marketing advisor. He has worked relentlessly to create tens of thousands of livelihoods for rural poor through collective marketing, public private partnerships and the 300 Gramshree melas organized in 75 cities for sale of rural products. He co-created Project Shakti with Hindustan Unilever to appoint 46,000 poor women from micro finance groups as company dealers.

He has pioneered another low cost, last mile rural distribution model by appointing village entrepreneurs on bicycles for many FMCG and durable companies. He has also pioneered the concept of ‘Inclusive Marketing’.

Mr. Kashyap was the only speaker from India at Cannes Lions 2008 among the 50 Global speakers that addressed the 2,000 participants in France, where his topic was ‘Rural India: The Emerging Market’. He was the key note speaker at an International conference in 2010 on inclusive marketing in Chicago. He has also given talks at University of Cambridge and London Business School, UK and was recently invited to speak on ‘MART – An Endearing Organisation’ and ‘Freedom from Poverty’ by TEDx DECCAN and TEDx Knowledge City respectively. He is President, Rural Marketing Association of India.

For over 25 years, Pradeep Kashyap, Founder and CEO, MART, has been sharing his knowledge at various CEO platforms, investor meets, marketing conferences, academic institutions, and very recently he spoke at TEDx Events about MART as an endearing organization and freedom from poverty. Rural Relations, founded by Mr. Pradeep Lokhande is playing a unique role in helping the kids with computer education, in making us all aware of the state of the villages, a very interesting approach to provide valuable data of about almost 70% Indians - The Rural India!

He has created an infrastructure which allows for donations to reach its goal without any red tape through his organization: rural relations.

Mr. Pradeep Lokhande has been working very hard for almost 19 years on his dream - he has been trying hard to make the villages of India computer literate! In this process not only is he helping students in the villages but is providing valuable data related to conditions and challenges faced by these villages to various corporations to help them understand the consumer behavior. It’s a win win situation for all.

Recently he started an effort to make video interviews of the villages by employing the youth from the village. This helps in providing feedback to the contributors as well as interested corporations. He has already helped over 400 schools with a computer which not only keeps the students excited about their schools but help them understand the amazing uses of a computer which has completely changed the way we do business.

He wanted to know the essence of the various traditions, cultures and soak in its thinking. It was a journey of 49,000 villages of which he had personally visited 5000 of them across the country. He tried to understand rural India's administration methodologies, markets or the bazaar-haat systems and the process of the education system.

In the process of his journey, he established direct contact with opinion makers in villages and started recording obscure details of the local economy. And in 1996, I made my first customers, Tata Tea and Parle to delve in the data that I had collected. Since then there has been no turning back.
